Fabulous creativity!!!!

Ive been doing some fab shoots over the last couple of weeks.. In particular the one I did on the 17th... all will be revealed very soon.
The concept styling, makeup, hair and pretty much everything was fab... I can't stop looking at the pics. Im sooo in awe over them.

The team was amazing, chantelle (makeup junkie) did the makeup, hair was done by Kim Roy who was soo lovely to work with... I was soo amazed when she was making the hair.. She did the hair with hair pieces NOT wigs which I thought was amazing!! (you'll see why when you see the finished pics). It really was amazing to watch... I always make sure on shoot days I have everything set up before hand so I can watch the makeup and hair be done... styling was also done by Chantelle as she has been wanting to get into styling as she did studied styling and textiles at Uni... She had some amazing stuff that she bought with her... it was perfect for the concept!!!
We worked with an amazing model From Nevs Models- Ashleigh. I was so pleased she wanted to work with us as shes hardly ever tests. Ashleigh has also just done the Tigi Campaign it will be fab to see her on the posters etc.
Here are some behind the scene pics.. I cant show too much as I dont want to give the concept away, But like I said all will be revealed soon enough

Enjoy
P.s Please excuse our tired looking selves... we were knackered!!

Liz Earle Skin care.... Try it!!

'Liz earle naturally active skincare' Is a skincare range that is totally natural.. all natural ingredients, not tested on animals or genetically modified.

I swear by this for my skin... I discovered Liz earle 2 years ago, when I first fell extremely ill.. My skin was awful.. really grey and it showed that I had been really ill. My neighbour recommended Liz earle to me. I ordered all the essentials from QVC and loved it. Its really like no other skincare Ive have ever tried. Seen as though it was working so well for me.. I recommended it to my mum.. who now by the way cannot live with out it.

some of my faves and a few extra's that I use-

-cleanse and polish with muslin cloth
-instant boost skin tonic
- skin repair moisturiser.
-gentle face exfoliator
-deep cleansing mask
-day and night eye care duo.

If your ever having problems with your skin.. you all should deff try Liz earle... It really is amazing stuff.. and the reason why I can get away with NOT wearing any makeup most of the time!! LOL

So you want to be a Londoner??

Im a born and bread Londoner.... I grew up and live on a council estate situated in South East London (Its actually a really nice and quiet council estate), Im extremely street smart and know exactly when I being treated differently, looked at differently and have also experienced a fair amount of racism.

My family come from all different Places.. My Nan being Anglo Indian (half white, half indian), my dad Is african born with Hindu family. The children in our family were always taught to respect every religion seeing as though we had such a mix in our family. We celebrate everything from Christmas, easter, Eid, Diwali... You name it we celebrate it and respect it!

Growing up On a council estate is probably made me the person I am today... I would not change it for the world. I am extremely proud of where Im from and do not like the "stereotype" that is often labeled with people who live on council estates. I can honestly say that there is alot of unknown and unseen talents that rise from council estates.. "were not all riff raff".

I also do not consider myself as some of you would say "one of the lucky ones" because I kept my head on straight, studied hard, got good grades, am extremeley respectful and speak well.

London Is as most of you would say "the city of opportunity" Everyone in the industry wants to live in London and believe that London salary's are alot more.. Its not at all really when recession looms around every corner, Food and actually almost everything costs so much now days. London is a mess.. and It will only get worse over the next 10 years!

I still Live at home with my parents, It works out just about fine for me I shoot at home, kinda like office hour's unless the shoot needs a larger space in which a studio is hired. I will eventually move out to a nice place of my own big enough to dedicate a room for my studio. I have always been bought up to be independant... My parents never spoon fed me, even if they had the means too. I worked my ass off for everything I own including all of my camera equipment... and unfortunatly for me.. I only settle for the best which can be very expensive.

Dont get me wrong.. I Love London... Its home and home will always be home!..Its just... London life is really not as easy as it seems!

Overated or what!!!

I have had the longest day today...come home, put my feet up and what do I see on the homepage of my AOL news page?
Chris Brown and Rhianna!!!
I mean come on I think those two have had enough publicity from what he did to her. Yes I did very much feel sorry for her after seeing the picture of her bruised and broken face.. but then I also heard she has gone and married him? Is this true?? I bloody hope not!!!

It does make me a little sick.. I am in every way against voilence against women.. If I ever saw a man beating a women I would feel olbliged to step in, take off my fabulous shoe and beat him with it.. So saying that I am extremely aganist Chris Browns spokes person speaking on his behalf... I mean why are you even justifying what he did to her. I really do hope women are not blind sided by this and think its ok to go back to man who does that to you.. Let me tell you something " IT REALLY IS NOT"

anyhoo.... thats my little rant for the day.... hope you are all well, I will be spending this wknd looking after my mummy... bless her she had a little op.

ciao for now

Update!!

Hiya Guys,

Wow I have really just not keept up to date with my blog...

Things have been manic since the new year.. I was really lucky as nov/dec I had the most amount of work but so much that it left me quite ill... I really did need to learn how to slow down.

At the moment I have a few projects in the pipe lines... some magazine projects, which I am extremely excited about... Im really not the kind of person to boast about things as sometimes you look extremely stupid when you say things but they are just NOT as they are!!

Submitting to magazines can be very difficult.. but even more difficult when you do it on your own back and without help or no links! Im sure you all know this industry is very much about who you know NOT what you know... I will be extremely proud of myself if my project does go through.. I will know that It was based on soley my networking...

Also in the pipe lines (fingers crossed it goes through) an interview for a TV show... more of that later when I find out the details. I was overly excited when I was asked by the producer of the show... But we'll see how that pans out..

I had a shoot the other day With an amazing model from New York, she is only here till the 9th of March but is hoping to move to London.. So I will be deff working with her again. She had the most amazing face, her cheek bones went on forever!! LOL
It was really interesting to hear about all of the jobs she has done.. Including her experienece modelling with Tyra Banks on her show. How cool is that... I was overwelmed to have someone in my house so humble who had met a supermodel... amazing stuff.

The shoot was soo much fun... Me Chantelle and Hayley had such a giggle and we worked on some really good stuff. Unfortunatly I cant show you anything as yet.

The wedding photography business is picking up slowly but surely... I will be handling alot of the back end of the business whilst I work on my own projects and other work I have at the moment! Sarah will be shooting a wedding abroad... which will be really exciting to see the results.

I will update very soon.

hope you are all well

Ciao for now!!
